Description
Winchester Model 1876 Lever Action Rifle.Serial no. 61470, .45-75 W.C.F. caliber, 28-inch octagonal barrel with fixed front sight and rear ladder sight. Blued finish. Case-hardened lever and hammer. Dust cover. Smooth walnut straight stock and fore-end. Crescent metal buttplate with cleaning rod reservoir. Manufactured in 1887.
Condition: Excellent. Retaining approximately 80-85% finish, with a few thinning areas, scattered handling wear and fine patches of pitting. Cleaning rod absent. Scuffs and dings present to wood. Action good. Lightly pitted bore.
