Description
Winchester Model 1873 Lever Action Rifle.Serial no. 185575B, .44-40 caliber, 24-inch octagonal barrel with fixed front sight and rear elevation sight. Blued finish. Dust cover. Smooth walnut straight stock and fore-end. Crescent metal buttplate with cleaning rod reservoir. Manufactured in 1885.
Condition: Very good as partially refinished. Retaining approximately 80-85% finish, with thinning to relief edges, handling wear and patches of pitting. Scattered minor scuffs and scratches. Action good, lever is loose. Lightly pitted bore.
