Description
Winchester Model 1873 Lever Action Rifle.Serial no. 557523B, .22 short caliber, 24-inch octagonal barrel with fixed front sight and rear elevation sight. Blued finish. Dust cover. Smooth walnut straight stock and fore-end. Crescent metal buttplate. Manufactured in 1902.
Condition: Good. Retaining traces of finish, the balance a dark grey age patina with noticeable wear and pitting. Heavy scattered scuffs and dings to wood. 2 1/2-inch crack to right side of fore-end tip. Action good. Moderately pitted bore.
