Description
Winchester Model 1873 Lever Action Rifle. Serial no. 557064B, .38 WCF, 24 ¼-inch octagonal barrel with rear elevation sight and fixed front sight. Blued barrel with case-hardened frame. Walnut stock and fore-arm. Curved metal buttplate with trap. Manufactured in 1901.Condition: Good. Retaining approximately 85% finish which has turned to a plum/brown patina. Blue on loading tube a bit thin. Frame with a mottled gray finish. Stock with light scratches and a few gouges on the left side of the butt. Mechanically sound; bore a bit dark but otherwise in nice condition.
