Description
Winchester Model 1873 Lever Action Rifle.Serial no. 266647B, .38 W.C.F. caliber, 28-inch octagonal barrel with fixed front blade sight and rear elevation sight. Blued finish. Smooth walnut straight stock and fore-end. Crescent metal buttplate with cleaning rod reservoir. Cleaning rod absent. Manufactured in 1888.
Condition: Very good. Finish primarily a dark grey patina with scattered wear and pitting. Noticeable scuffs, dings and bruising present to wood. Wood loss to right side of fore-end. Action good. Pitted bore.
