Description
Winchester Model 1873 Lever Action Rifle. Serial no. 614671B, .38 caliber, very rare 28-inch octagonal barrel. Brass-tipped front and buckhorn style adjustable rear sights. Smooth walnut stocks. Curved steel buttplate with storage compartment. Sold along with Winchester factory letter confirming caliber, serial number and rare barrel length.Condition: Good to very good. Retaining approximately 10-15% original finish primarily in protected areas, the balance a fine, smooth, gray-blue patina. Dents on lifter. Stock is fine with minor handling wear and scattered dents. Bright bore with light wear.
