    Winchester Model 1866 2nd Model Saddle Ring Carbine. Serial no. 119169, .44 caliber rimfire, 20-inch round barrel with two-line New Haven address. Standard barrel band front and flip-up rear sights. Brass frame. Saddle ring. Walnut stocks with curved steel buttplate and storage compartment. Condition: Good for this model. Steel surfaces with a smooth gray patina with scattered staining and spotting. Fine to moderate pitting at muzzle and front barrel band. Mellow patina to brass. Scattered scratches and patches of fine pitting. Wood is good to very good with moderate wear and soiling. 1-inch crack to front of fore-end. Small losses to left side of fore-end at the breech. Buttstock with numerous dents and scratches and retaining approximately 10-15% varnish. Good bore with scattered moderate pitting. From the Michael Yeck Collection.
