Description
Winchester Golden Spike Commemorative Model 94 Lever Action Saddle Ring Carbine. Serial no. GS71694, .30-30 caliber, 20-inch round barrel with ramp rear and hooded front sight. Barrel, cocking lever, trigger and bolt blued; gold-plated receiver, barrel bands and buttplate. Right side of receiver with scroll engraving along the border; tang marked "OCEANS UNITED BY RAIL"; left side of receiver machine engraved with "1869 [golden spike] 1969"; right side of barrel near receiver stamped in gold "GOLDEN SPIKE COMMEMORATIVE". Walnut stock and fore-end with commemorative medallion inset into the right side of the butt.Condition: Excellent. 100% blue, unfired. Gold-plated surfaces with shallow surface scratches. Mechanically sound and with a nice bore.
