Winchester First Model 1876 Saddle Ring Musket. Serial no. 616, .45-75 caliber, 22-inch round barrel with fixed front sight and folding rear sight. Blued finish. Saddle ring. Straight walnut stock and fore-end. Carbine metal butt. Manufactured in 1876. Sold along with Winchester factory letter confirming model, serial number and shipping date. Property from the Estate of John R. Eckel, Sr.

Condition: Good. Finish primarily a mottled grey patina with noticeable wear and pitting. Wood showing scuffs, dings and bruises. Some scattered wood loss along the edges. Action tight. Moderately pitted bore.
