Description
Winchester Express Model 1876 Lever Action Rifle. Serial no. 54310, .50-95 caliber, 26- inch octagonal barrel with fixed front sight and rear elevation sight. Blued finish. Dust cover marked: WINCHESTER EXPRESS / .50 CAL. 95 GRS. Smooth walnut straight stock and fore-end. Compass inlaid to right side of stock. Crescent metal buttplate with cleaning rod reservoir. Cleaning rod absent. Manufactured in 1884.Condition: Fine as refinished. Retaining approximately 60-70% of a thinning finish with noticeable wear and pitting. Scuffs, dings and bruising present to wood. Action good. Lightly pitted bore.
