    Description

    Winchester 2nd Model High Wall Musket with Thickside Frame.
    Serial no. 120542, marked .22 Long R, 28-inch barrel with fixed front sight and rear ladder sight. Blued and case-hardened finish. Smooth walnut straight stock and fore-end. One barrel band. Finger grooves in fore-end. Sling swivels. Metal carbine butt. Also known as Second Model Winder according to Flayderman's.

    Condition: Good. Retaining approximately 60-70% finish with noticeable thinning areas, handling wear and patches of pitting. Heavy dings, scuffs and bruising present to wood throughout. Action good. Dark bore.
