Description
Whitney-Kennedy Serpentine Lever Action Rifle. Serial no. 785, .44-40 caliber, 24-inch octagonal barrel with German silver Rocky Mountain blade-type front sight and elevation rear sight. Blued finish. Case-hardened frame. Crescent buttplate with cleaning rod reservoir. No cleaning rod present. Serpentine lever. Varnished walnut stock and fore-end.Condition: Good to very good. Retaining approximately 20-30% finish mixed with grey-brown age patina. Wood with light wear and bruises. Action good. Bore good.
