    Whitney-Kennedy Lever Action Saddle Ring Carbine. Serial No. F346, .45-60 caliber, 22-inch round barrel. Top of barrel marked: Whitneyville Armory, Ct. USA. Tang marked: Pat'd Jany. 7-73. April, May and August 1879 patent dates. Serpentine cocking lever. Nine-shot tubular magazine. Walnut stock and forearm with crescent buttplate. Condition: Good. The original finish has assumed a uniform plum brown patina with areas of scratching and light pitting. Mechanically appears to be in very good condition. The stock exhibits light scratches and bruises. The bore is worn but in good condition.
