    Description

Superb Working Miniature Winchester Model 1866 Rifle. 9 1/2-inch round barrel; 18 1/2-inches overall. An amazingly detailed miniature featuring a rifled barrel, working action, flip up rear sight, functional lever lock, working trap door in the butt and the Winchester two line address and patent information on the top of the barrel. Exactly like the original, this detailed miniature features a casehardened hammer and cocking lever, blued barrel and magazine tube, and a brass receiver and buttplate. The stock and fore-end are beautifully scaled in finely figured walnut. Sadly, the craftsman did not personalize his amazing work so the origin of this fine little miniature is unknown.
    Condition: Excellent.
