Description
Sharps New Model 1863 Cartridge Conversion Saddle Ring Carbine.Serial no. 17650, .52 caliber, 22-inch barrel with fixed front sight and folding rear ladder sight. Blued and case-hardened finish. Smooth walnut straight stock with one barrel band. Metal buttplate.
Condition: Very good. Finish primarily a mottled grey age patina with wear and pitting present. Wood showing scattered scuffs, dings and bruising. Action crisp. Moderately pitted bore.
