Description
Savage Arms Model 99 Lever Action Rifle. Serial no. 643782, .300 Savage caliber, 24-inch barrel with fixed front sight and rear elevation sight. Blued finish. Case-hardened lever. Checkered walnut pistolgrip stock and fore-end. Checkered hard rubber grip cap. Grooved metal buttplate.Condition: Good to very good. Retaining approximately 90-95% finish with signs of handling wear and scattered fine patches of pitting. Wood showing light scuffs and scratches, noticeable round scuff to right side of stock. Minor wood loss to stock at buttplate. Action crisp. Strong bore.
