    Description

    Restored Winchester Model 1886 Takedown Lever Action Rifle. Serial no. 139272, .50-100-450 caliber, 26-inch blued part round/part octagonal barrel with a dovetailed German silver Rocky Mountain blade type front sight and aftermarket Marbles rear elevation sight. Half magazine. Case-hardened hammer, receiver and lever. Takedown action. Oil-finished walnut stock and fore-end. Shotgun butt with checkered steel buttplate.
    Condition: Excellent as refinished. Retaining approximately 85-90% reblued and case-hardened finish with buttplate showing grey age patina. Barrel a possible replacement. Trigger showing wear and pitting. Wood lightly sanded and showing a few minor dents on buttstock. Action good. Bright bore.
