Martially Marked Henry Lever Action Rifle. Serial no. 3146 [barrel, left side of lower tang, stock under upper tang, top buttplate screw and buttplate], .44 rimfire caliber, 24 1/4-inch octagonal barrel. Blade front and ladder rear sights. Barrel address reading: HENRY'S PATENT OCT. 16,1860 / MANUFAC'D BY THE NEW HAVEN ARMS CO. NEW HAVEN. CT. Right side of frame marked: H.H. Right side of barrel at breech marked: C.G.C./H. Manufactured October, 1863. Buttplate with cleaning rod reservoir with four piece cleaning rod.


Condition: Very good. Barrel mostly smooth mottled gray-brown patina with some specks of surface rust present. Rear sight missing elevator. Bright bore with light wear and moderate pitting.
