Boxed Winchester Model 9422 Cheyenne Commemorative Lever Action Rifle.Serial no. CH12423, .44-40 WIN. caliber, 20-inch barrel with fixed hooded front sight and rear elevation sight. Blued and gold-plated finish. Tang peep sight. Machine engraved scroll and Cherokee scenes to each side of receiver. Engraved Cheyenne scene to each side of receiver. Right side of barrel marked: CHEYENNE CARBINE 22. Smooth walnut straight stock and fore-end. Inlaid medallion to right side of stock. Crescent metal butt. Contained in fitted foam box with pasteboard sleeve.
Condition: Excellent. Overall showing light handling wear. Action crisp. Strong bore. Noticeable storage wear and tape repairs to box.
