    *Winchester Model 1873 Lever Action Rifle. Serial no. 584863B, .32 W.C.F. caliber, 24-inch round barrel with brass-tipped sporting front and Rocky Mountain rear sights. Blued and case-hardened finish. Oil-finished walnut stock with curved steel buttplate. Manufactured 1904.
    Condition: Very good as re-done. Retaining approximately 70-80% of an old re-blue, the balance thinning to a gray-brown patina. Scattered spotting. Faded case colors. Wood is very good with scattered dents and moderate use-wear. Possible old filled repair at wrist. Buttplate now with a brown patina and scattered spotting. Action is crisp. Dark bore with scattered moderate pitting.
