    Fine Contemporary Mule-Ear Side Hammer Percussion Kentucky Style Rifle by William Buchele, Circa 1962. .45 caliber,42-inch browned octagonal barrel with dovetailed front German silver blade sight and dovetailed open rear sight. Lock mechanism inscribed: W.B with ornately fashioned side bar hammer engraved with floral motifs and feather finial. Set triggers. Exceptional highly figured tiger maple stock with scrolling silver wire inlay at wrist, vacant circular German silver wrist escutcheon and cheekrest inlaid with German silver federal eagle and engraved German silver spots along stock. Brass furniture and ornately engraved and pierced brass patchbox inscribed: Wm Buchele/Gunsmith/1962. Hardwood ramrod. A finely, crafted and very attractive contemporary percussion Kentucky style rifle. Condition: Excellent with light storage and handling wear overall. Wood excellent. Action crisp.
