    English Marked Winchester Model 1892 Lever Action Rifle.

    Serial no. 722072, .44 W.C.F. caliber, 24 1/4-inch barrel with fixed front sight and rear elevation sight. Nickel-plated finish. Right side of barrel marked: 44 1-30 33-200 ENGLISH MAKE and English proof marks. Case-hardened hammer and lever. EE to base of receiver just below serial number. Smooth walnut straight stock, right side stamped: C.B. / 53. Crescent metal buttplate.

    Condition: Good. Retaining approximately 80-85% finish with scattered signs of handling wear and fine patches of pitting. Heavy scuffs, dings and bruising present to wood. Large FM carved into left side of stock. Action crisp. Lightly pitted bore. Property from the James R. Glascock Collection.
