    Description

    Early Edo Period Japanese Matchlock Musket.
    Unserialized, approximately .54 caliber, 41 1/2-inch octagonal barrel with flared muzzle, with triangular blade front sight and fixed grooved-block rear sight. Brass lock, hammer and trigger. Smooth hardwood stock with floral fittings scattered throughout.

    Condition: Good. Finish primarily a dark grey patina with heavy wear and surface rust. Scuffs and dings present to stock. Action functions. Dark bore.
