Early 19th Century British Flintlock Blunderbuss. 33 1/4" overall with 18 1/4" round iron barrel with 1 1/2" bore at muzzle. Barrel marked London with British proofs and the tang is nicely engraved. Lock is also nicely engraved with the only marking being an olde English letter "R". Very nicely engraved brass furniture with untouched dark patina. Walnut stock is excellent with finely checkered wrist. Retains the original horn tipped ramrod. Nice English blunderbuss and somewhat unusual with an iron barrel.
