    Composite U.S. Harper's Ferry Musket Conversion. Approximately .72 caliber, 33 1/2-inch barrel. Lock marked, "HARPER'S FERRY 1828." Hammer appears to be the original flint cock tightened on to a blacksmith-fashioned striker. Ramrod present. Hardwood stock. Condition: Poor as configured. Stock with sliver chip at muzzle. Rear barrel band absent. Lock ill-fitting to wood which has several repairs masking a crack at the wrist. Action functions.
