    Chinese Mauser Model 1935 Bolt Action Military Rifle. Serial No. AE8485, 7.92 x 57 caliber, 23-inch barrel with standard military sights. Chinese ordnance mark and Hanyang Arsenal mark stamped on the receiver ring with 1937 date. Mismatched numbers. Two barrel bands, two sling swivels, bayonet lug and cleaning rod. Import marked. Walnut stock and handguard with flat metal buttplate. Unidentified cartouche on the right side of butt. Condition: Fair. Smooth brown patina with wear at the muzzle and on the high spots. Bore dirty with some pitting. Stock with moderate wear including the usual scratches and light dents. Old varnish removed on either side of the butt.
