    Cased Browning Model B78 Bicentennial 1776-1976 Single Shot Rifle.
    Serial no. 1776 / 0033, .45-70 Gov't. caliber, 24-inch octagonal barrel with fixed front blade sight and rear elevation sight. Blued finish with scroll engraving at breech and muzzle. Coin finished receiver with scrolls engraving, along with a bison to right side and eagle to left, signed by: G. CARGNEL. Checkered walnut straight stock and fore-end. Blued crescent buttplate. Contained in factory wooden case with Bicentennial plaque to top and red felt lining. Sold along with Browning Arms Company etched knife and 1776-1976 coin.

    Condition: Excellent. Overall showing very light handling wear. Few scattered scuffs and dings to wooden case.
