    U.S. Springfield Armory Model 1903 Bolt Action Rifle With Warner & Swasey Model of 1913 Telescopic Musket Sight. Serial no. 615951, .30-06 caliber, 24-inch barrel standard military sights. Blued finish. Barrel marked SA [Ordnance Bomb] 10-15. Walnut stock with two barrel bands, sling swivels, stacking swivel, bayonet lug, and checkered buttplate with trap for cleaning tools. Undated inspector's cartouche on the left side of the stock with faint circle "P" proof on the underside of the stock. Warner & Swasey scope with brass body painted black. Scope serial numbered 5747. All mounted range plates are present.
    Condition: Very good. Retaining approximately 80-85% finish, occasionally thin in spots. Stock has been lightly sanded but otherwise displays only modest handling wear. Strong action. Bright bore. Scope is lacking the large rubber eyepiece and exhibits some paint loss and wear at the edges. The optics have condensation built up and will need to be professionally cleaned.
