DescriptionU.S. Eddystone Model of 1917 Bolt Action Rifle. Serial no. 881340, .30-06 caliber, 26-inch barrel with standard military sights. Barrel marked E for Eddystone and dated 7-18. Military blue finish. Walnut stock with grasping grooves, two barrel bands, sling swivels, stacking swivel, bayonet lug and metal buttplate with trap for cleaning tools. "R.A. - P" cartouche on the left side of the stock.
Condition: Very good as re-arsenaled. Retaining approximately 85-90% finish worn thin on the bolt handle and muzzle. Front floor plate screw broken. Stock with scattered handling wear in the form of light scratches, shallow dents and bruises. Mechanically sound. Bright bore.
