    Important Cased Pair of High Art Belgian H. Dumoulin & Fils-Milmort Bolt Action Rifle, Purportedly Presented to the Late John Bowden Connally, Jr., Governor of Texas, Secretary of the Navy Under President John F. Kennedy and Secretary of the Treasury Under President Richard M. Nixon. Comprising: 1.) H. Dumoulin & Fils-Milmort Bolt Action Rifle. Numbered 1 / 100, .300 Win. Mag. caliber, 28-inch barrel with hooded front sight and fixed rear sight. Blued finish. There is a gold inlaid U.S. space ship at the top of the breech end of the barrel along with a silver astronaut in space suit. Top front portion of the receiver engraved with historic first walk on the moon. Rear portion of the receiver is gold inlaid "SPACELAB MISSION 1" and an engraved NASA insignia. Gold inlaid American flag on the bottom of triggerguard. U.S. space ship at launch boosters engraved on the floor plate. Checkered walnut pistolgrip stock and forearm. Sling swivel on stock and eyelet on underside of barrel. Pachmayr rubber recoil pad. 2.) H. Dumoulin & Fils-Milmort Bolt Action Rifle. Numbered 1 / 100, .30-06 caliber, 24-inch barrel with hooded front sight and folding leaf rear sight. Blued finish. The receiver is highly engraved with the United States Marine Corp. insignia on the top front of the receive in gold inlay, engraved scene of flag raising at Iwo Jima at top rear of receiver. Marine riflemen moving up Mount Siribachi engraved on the floor plate. Scroll and floral engraved triggerguard. Checkered walnut pistolgrip stock and forearm with swivel eyelets. Pachmayr rubber recoil pad. Contained in original leather display case with two screwdrivers, two brass oilers, cleaning rod and canvas cover.
    Note: This item was previously sold at another auction house and attributed in their description as having been presented to John Connally.
    Condition: Excellent. Each shows very light wear from display and handling. Case and cover showing little wear from storage. Closure clasp absent on canvas cover.
