    Description

    French Berthier-Mannlicher Model 1916 Military Carbine. Serial No. 84668, 8mm Lebel caliber, 17¾-inch barrel with fixed front sight and adjustable rear sight. Manufactured by Chatellerault. Long, turned down bolt toggle. Stock, trigger guard, and bolt numbers matching. Straight grip walnut stock. Two barrel bands, sling attachments and cleaning rod.
    Condition: Very good. Retaining approximately 90-95% finish with modest wear at the muzzle and receiver. Bolt with staining and light areas of pitting. Stock lightly sanded obscuring cartouche and serial number. Bright bore.
