Description

    British Magazine Lee-Enfield Mk I Bolt Action Military Rifle. Serial No. A18421, .303 caliber, 30 1/4-inch barrel with standard military sights, two barrel bands, two sling swivels, stacking swivel, and bayonet lug. Volley sights and magazine cut off present. Right butt socket marked B.S.A. Co./1900/L.E./I*. Bolt and receiver numbers not matching. British broad arrow sales mark on the receiver and stock with various other military acceptance marks present. Walnut stock with light cartouches and brass buttplate property marked N.Z./1374/1901. Condition: Very good. Retaining approximately 80-85% original finish. Rear flip-up aperture sight mounting screws appear replaced. Stock with the usual dings and dents from use. It appears that the butt was cleaned as it doesn't match the patina on the rest of the furniture.
