    Serial no. 16557. 6.5x54MS. 18-inch barrel with ramped spear front sight and standing sight with folding leaf on a raised base. Blued bolt action with rotating magazine. Flag bolt safety. Double set triggers. Full length stock of slightly figured walnut. Blued grip and nose cap. Cheekpiece. Cartridge trap in butt. German telescopic sight marked: VISAR 4 1/2x D.R.G.M. Emile Busch A-G Rathenow. Post with horizontal lines. European two piece detachable mounts. Proof: Austrian, Nitro, 6.5x53 ½, St. m 10gr. 4 25. Pull: 14 inches.
    Condition: Excellent, as redone. Gun showing some use. Barrel shows 96-98% rebluing with small areas of fine pitting. Excellent bore. Action show 96-98% rebluing. Buttplate shows 60-70% rebluing. Triggerguard, and magazine floorplate show 94-96% rebluing. Lightly recoated stock shows nicks and scratches. Numerous scratches on lower end of butt. Clear optics.
