Side safety. Engine turned magazine follower. Blued floorplate with floral design and Weatherby Super in a banner. Basket-weave checkered pistolgrip Monte Carlo stock of figured walnut. Maker's recoil pad. Rosewood fore-end tip and grip cap with maple diamond. Griffin & Howe detachable sidemount with German Weatherby Imperial 2 3/4x90 telescopic sight with fine cross-hairs.
    This rifle is the first .460 produced by Weatherby and took the rogue bull elephant with the 123 pound tusk that is detailed in the September 1959, Field & Stream article: Double on the Biggest Game. The tusk is featured in this sale.
