    *U.S. Springfield Model Krag 1898 Bolt Action Rifle Together with Bayonet and Cartridge Belt. Serial no. 142124, .30-40 caliber, 30-inch barrel with standard sights. Blued finish. Case-hardened action. Walnut stock and armguard. Sling mounts. Sold together with accompanying bayonet, scabbard and khaki web Spaulding 60-loop cartridge belt. According to consignor, this gun was issued to the U.S. 8th Infantry. Manufactured in October, 1898.
    Condition: Very good. Retaining approximately 40-50% finish mixed with age patina and showing wear and silvered case-hardening. Wood with wear and bruises. Action good. Bayonet very good. Belt excellent.
