    Antique Winchester Model 1873 Lever Action Rifle.
    Serial no. 326955B, .44 WCF, 24-inch round barrel with fixed front sight and rear elevation sight. Winchester barrel address with King's Improvement patent markings. Blued finish. Dust cover. Smooth walnut straight stock and fore-end. Crescent metal buttplate and fore-end cap. Manufactured in 1890, one of approximately 720,610 made. Production on Winchester 1873's were between 1873-1919. Research and quotes with the help of Flayderman's Guide to Antique American Firearms. Note: According to Flayderman's, Perhaps the most famous of all Winchesters, the '73 was featured in the James Stewart Film "Winchester '73." A good honest Winchester rifle that looks the part. Bottom of frame near trigger appears the marking A L done by hand.

    Condition: Good to very good for this model. Retaining 15-20% traces of blued finish in protected areas. Balance of the barrel and frame have a good brown patina to them with areas of pitting and patina. Metal parts with few scuffs. Marred screws. Stock with numerous dents, bruising and a few loses near edges. Buttplate with more pitting, probably from hadnling or storage. Action good. Bore good with rifling present.
