    *U.S. National Postal Meter M-1 Carbine. Serial no. 4234869, .30 caliber, 18-inch I.B.M. marked barrel. Protected blade front and adjustable rear sights. Bayonet lug. Rear sight stamped, "J.A.O." Canvas sling and oiler. Walnut stock stamped with cross cannons and with blued 15 round magazine.
    Condition: Good. Moderate age wear and patina throughout. Numerous scratches and dents to wood. Left side of stock with white numerals, possibly rack numbers.
