Serial no. 35012. .375 H&H Flanged Magnum. 25-inch chopperlump barrels with concave smooth rib with spear front sight on a spear pointed ramped base with a folding moon sight. Spear pointed quarter rib with standing rear sight marked 50/200 and a folding leaf marked 350. Telescopic sight mounts inset into quarter rib. Mounts allow unobstructed view of rear sights. Casehardened action with back action 6-pin locks. Action and locks engraved with 30%-40% coverage of very fine foliate scroll and bouquets. Hidden third fastener. Ejectors. Automatic safety. Disc-set strikers. Beaded fences. Long top strap. Finely checkered pistolgrip stock of contrasting largely straight grain walnut. Casehardened engraved grip cap with trap. Filled oval space. Gold initials on top of butt. Older Silver's style recoil pad. Sling swivels. Finely checkered splinter fore-end with Anson-style release. Period Carl Zeiss Zielvier telescopic sight with bold post and horizontal bars. Elevation only adjustment. Scope numbered to the gun. Modern Buttler Creek lense protectors.     Data: Pull: 15 inches. Proof: London Nitro,.375 2.94,Cordite 54-300 Max. Weight: Green canvas trunk case with leather trim. Single brass lock. Red baize interior with period maker's paper label. Accessories include: Cleaning rod, Disc spanner, grease container, and muzzle protector.
    Condition: Very Good. Gun shows use. Barrels show 75-85% bluing with areas of thinning, spotting and some scratches. Bores show some wear and frosting ahead of the chambers, more pronounced in the right barrel. Both bores show some light corrosion near the muzzle, more pronounced in the left barrel. Action shows 30-40% muted case colors and vivid colors on top of tang. Locks show 70-80% darker case colors with some small areas of corrosion. Action/barrels show very slight looseness. Stock shows loss of finish except for head of stock with a few nicks and scratches. Fore-end show a couple of nicks and impressions. Case in good condition. Exterior shows fading canvas with slight losses. Leather trim shows scuffing and losses. Interior shows some pilling, dirt and minor wear losses. Action hold down belt missing end.
