    U.S. Springfield Model 1855 Percussion Pistol Carbine with Shoulder Stock Numbered 1.

    Unserialized, .58 caliber, 11 1/2-inch barrel with fixed front sight. Maynard primer. Lock marked: (eagle) and U.S. / SPRINGFIELD. Top of barrel dated 1855. Smooth walnut pistolgrip stock with brass furniture, sling swivels and swivel ramrod. U.S. marked shoulder stock with the serial number 1.

    Condition: Very good. Finish primarily a bright grey patina with scattered signs of handling wear, age and patches of pitting. Scuffs and dings present to wood. Action good. Pitted bore.
