    Description

    Stevens No. 36 Single Shot Target Pistol. Serial no. 754, .22 caliber, 10-inch part round barrel with target sights. Blued and nickeled finish. Firing pin in frame with bushing. Spurred triggerguard. Checkered walnut grips. This model also known as the Stevens-Lord pistol and named after Frank Lord, a target shooter well-known at this time. 3,500 manufactured between 1880 to 1911. Condition: Excellent. Retaining approximately 75-80% original finish. Light wear and a nick at the muzzle. Scattered patches of light frosting on nickel. Loss of finish at backstrap and pommel. Grips are fine with slight flattening. Strong bore with patches of fine pitting.
