Description
Remington Model 1867 Navy Rolling Block Single Shot Pistol.Serial no. 334 [base of grip], .50 caliber, 7-inch barrel with fixed front and rear sights. Blued finish. I / E.B. / (anchor) to top of barrel. Right side of frame marked: P / F.C.W. Rolling block action. Varnished walnut grip and fore-end. FCW cartouche to left side of grip.
Condition: Very good. Finish primarily a smooth grey patina, with noticeable signs of age, handling wear and pitting. Heavy dings and bruising to wood. Some wood loss to base of grip. Fill in repairs to right side of fore-end. Action good. Lightly pitted bore.
