    Description

    Remington Model 1867 Navy Rolling Block Pistol.
    Serial no. 4086, .50 caliber, 7-inch round barrel. Top of breech marked I/FB/[anchor]. Blued finish with case-hardened frame, breechblock, trigger, trigger guard and hammer. Frame marked: REMINGTONS ILION N.Y. U.S.A./PAT MAY 3D NOV 15TH 1864 APRIL 17TH 1866. Right side of frame with: P/F.C.W. Walnut grip and forend.

    Condition: Good to very good. Barrel with traces of blue in protected areas, the balance a mottled gray-blue patina with scattered stains, dents, tool marks and fine pitting. Frame has scant traces of case colors the balance a thin gray patina with scattered patches of staining, fine pitting and tool marks. Minor wood loss.
