    Starr Arms Army Single Action Revolver.
    Serial no. 2363, .44 caliber, 8-inch barrel with fixed front sight. Blued finish. Case-hardened hammer and lever. Left side of barrel stamped: M. Smooth walnut one-piece grip. Original brass museum inventory tag attached: J.M. DAVIS / 628 / MEMORIAL.
    Sold to Benefit The JM Davis Collection at the JM Davis Arms and Historical Museum.

    Condition: Very good. Retaining approximately 50-60% finish, the balance a dark grey patina, with noticeable signs of handling wear and pitting. Heavy dings and bruising to wood. Soldered custom rear sight to top pf frame. Action good. Strong bore.
