    Description

    Savage Firearms Navy Model Percussion Revolver.
    Serial no. 7898 [frame under grips], .36 caliber, 7-inch octagonal barrel with fixed front bead sight. Blued finish. Flat sided frame with heart-shaped trigger and lever guard. Smooth walnut grip panels.
    Provenance: National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum. Sold to benefit the Museum's collections and acquisitions.

    Condition: Good. Finish primarily a dark grey patina, with heavy wear and surface rust. Noticeable dings and bruising to grips. Some wood loss to corners and base of panels. Action functions. Pitted bore.
