    Rogers & Spencer Army Model Percussion Single Action Revolver. Serial no. 3077 [all matching], .44 caliber, 7 1/2-inch octagonal barrel. Blued finish. Topstrap marked: ROGERS & SPENCER/UTICA, N Y. Major elements stamped with B inspector's stamp. Blued finish. Case-hardened hammer, lever and triggerguard. Oil-finished walnut grips with BPB [Peter Barrett?] inspector's cartouche. Grips with German silver escutcheons. Condition: Fine. Retaining approximately 65-70% finish, mixed with brown patina, showing minor surface spotting and light marks. Faded case-hardening. Light tracking line on cylinder. Grips with light wear. Mechanically sound.
