    Rogers & Spencer Army Model Percussion Revolver with Leather Rig.
    Serial no. 2889 [barrel frame, cylinder and butt], .44 caliber, 7 1/2-inch octagonal barrel with fixed front brass sight and frame notch rear sight. Blued finish. Topstrap marked: ROGERS & SPENCER / UTICA, N.Y. Major elements stamped with B inspector's stamp. Oil-finished walnut grips with faint cartouche. Sold along with Leather belt rig. Consisting of: E Pluribus Unum beltplate, E. Gaylord cartridge pouch, C.S. Storms cap pouch and unmarked leather holster.

    Condition: Very good. Retaining approximately 40-50% finish, the balance a smooth grey age patina with wear and pitting present. Grips showing scattered scuffs and dings. Action good. Normal age wear, cracking and discoloring present to leather. Closure to holster torn.
