    Description

    Restored Colt Model 1871-1872 Open Top Single Action Revolver. Serial no. 2151, .44 caliber, 7 1/2-inch barrel with integral rear sight and New York address. Blued and case-hardened finish. 2-line, 2-date patent. Cylinder with roll-stamped naval engagement scene. Army-sized one-piece ivory grips. Sold together with Colt factory letter indicating a May 1873 ship date to H.D. Folsom Arms of New York. Condition: Excellent as professionally refurbished. Retaining approximately 90-95% vibrant redone blue and case colors. All markings are sharp. Very crisp cylinder scene. Wedge and firing pin are now case-hardened instead of original blue. Minor handling wear. Grips are later replacements. Action very good.
