    Remington New Model Single Action Percussion Revolver.
    Serial no. 25206 [barrel] and 25304 [frame under grips], .36 caliber, 7 1/2-inch octagonal barrel with fixed front sight and frame notch rear sight. Blued finish. Case-hardened hammer. Anchor stamped to top of barrel. Brass triggerguard with W inspector's mark. Smooth hardwood grip panels. Original brass museum inventory tag attached: J.M. DAVIS / 9852 / MEMORIAL.
    Sold to Benefit The JM Davis Collection at the JM Davis Arms and Historical Museum.

    Condition: Very good. Retaining approximately 10-20% of a thinning finish, the balance a smooth grey patina with scattered signs of handling wear and patches of pitting. Noticeable scuffs and scratches to grips. Action crisp. Lightly pitted bore.
