    Remington-Beals Army Model Percussion Revolver.
    Serial no. 1413(barrel, cylinder and gripframe), .44 caliber, 8-inch octagonal barrel with address reading: BEAL'S PATENT SEPT 14, 1858/MANUFACTURED BY REMINGTON'S ILION, N.Y. Brass triggerguard, oil-finished walnut grips. Partial inspector's markings on barrel and triggerguard. Oval on right grip panel a possible vestige of inspector's cartouche.

    Condition: Good to very good. Finish is a smooth, bare metal with scattered spotting and fine pitting. Hammer tip has been filed. Brass with smooth, mellow patina. Grips fine with some dents at the butt. Action crisp. Bore is very good showing light wear.
