    Rare Travel Cased Pair of Pocket Revolvers. Comprising: 1) Otis A. Smith's New Model Spur Trigger Pocket Revolver. Serial no. 24226, .32 caliber, 3-inch fluted barrel. Nickel-plated finish. 5-shot cylinder. Checkered factory hard rubber grips with OAS logo and star of David escutcheon motif [see Flayderman, 8A-167.5] 2) "Defender" Spur Trigger Pocket Revolver. Serial no. 577, .22 caliber, 2 1/8-inch octagonal barrel with German silver front sight. Nickel-plated finish. Top strap marked: Defender. 7-shot cylinder. Spur trigger. Molded hard rubber grips with patriotic eagle motif. Both contained in a custom period made, purple velvet-lined, black leatherette covered travel case with unkeyed locking device. Condition: Both guns are very good as refinished, the Otis A. Smith revolver retaining approximately 75-80% renickeled finish with scattered wear and scratches. The Defender retaining approximately 90-95% of a renickeled finish with light wear and marks present. Case with fading to interior lining, scuffs, losses to leatherette surfaces and wear to exterior.
